Vamos con una cantante llamada Claudine Clark,que nacio un 27 de Abrilde 1941 en Macon,Georgia,y tuvo su momento en los primeros años 60 y sobretodo en 1962,con la cancion que vamos a escuchar,"Las Luces de La Fiesta",o "Party Lights",que fue un Top 5 en el Verano de ese año...Party lights, I see the party lights)

Una composicion de la propia Claudine Clark que nacio en Georgia,crecio en Philadelphia y en cuanto pudo se fue a Nueva York.Ya habia grabado en el estado de
Pennsylvania alguna sesion que le habia traido algun exito local.Por ejemplo en 1958 el sello Harald se fijo en ella:una cantante y una compositora por el mismo precio.Alli grabo un single con el "Teenage Blues" y los Detroit Spinners en los coros...
Ya en la gran manzana pasaron unos años hasta que Chancellor Records la contrato nada mas escuchar esta cancion y el resto es historia.Tres singles exactamente.
Lo volvio a intentar con un segundo single,el "Walking Through A Cemetery",pero fue un fracaso comercial en todos los sentidos y eso que tenia una bonita cara B:"The Telephone Game".La joya de la corona seria ese 45' que grabo con las Get Setters y un clasico,"The Get Set Song".Tras la perdida de confianza por parte de Chancellor,Claudine intento separar sus dos carreras y se empezo a llamar Joy Swan.
Pero el exito de "Party Lights" la llevaba a ser quien era,y asi siguio grabando durante los siguientes años.Un paron mas grande vendria a partir de 1964.Ya en los 70 volveria a grabar otra vez,y la escena northern soul la acogia agradecida...para ya despues volver al Gospel con los Soul City Amen Corner.
