Aqui se llamo:"Mas Dura sera la Caida",y estaba basada en la novela de Budd Schulberg que habia tenido mucho exito y que Philip Yordan convirtio en certero guion.La leyenda negra del boxeo que es en realidad la leyenda negra de la humanidad.
Una pelicula amarga y de escenas y dialogos tan realistas que es fascinante,tanto por lo que te estremece,como por la ternura de algunas situaciones.
Un trozo de arte,un trozo de carne roja y cruda y con un duelo de actores intenso.Bogart y Rod Steiger,siendo este ultimo quien tiene ventaja al ser el agresor de la pelicula,regodeandose en su papel.
En cualquiera de los casos,es Humphrey Bogart quien domina la pelicula,dandolo todo y haciendo suyas las palabras escritas.Casi histerico y siempre laconico y excitante.
Uno de esos titulos con fuerza y ritmo,llena de cinismo y dobles juegos,atmosferas,de
